So, Alex called me last night, and said we need to talk. I really appreciated it, especially since this seems pretty out of character for him. He's not usually one to talk things out. It wasn't a very involving conversation, but we got it all out.

He said he'd been sensing some animosity from me, and yeah, I admitted I wasn't too happy. I just basically told him about how we were pissed about him getting totally wasted at the show. I mean, I know it was a party and all, but we're a no-name band and so we really can't afford to make asses of ourselves on stage yet (even if it is a party) As for his drunken behavior over the whole weekend, something not a lot of us realized was that the people there were throwing a lot of parties that weekend. First Snappy's birthday, then a long time friend of theirs was in town for the weekend - as Alex explained it, it was just a once in every-so-often kind of thing. I think it was just bad timing because he had just moved in with Hector, and gave the bad impression (like, is this how he's going to act the whole time he's living there?) A lot of his responsibilities got laid onto Hector and I (which he apologized for) because he was just enjoying himself.

I also told him that if he has a problem with me, to come to me and say it to my face. I don't want to hear about him talking about me behind my back, and I'm going to do the same.

All in all, I guess it was one giant misunderstanding that needed to be talked through (by a bunch of people who are really stubborn and bad at doing that). Ross is still pretty pissed at Hector, but I'm sure that will pass with time. So for now, things between Alex and I are cool, and I think we can all start to move on.
