I think I am....a cool guy....
I got my first paycheck last night - $179.53. Oh yeah. It seems like I should be getting so much more, but alas.....earwax. Corporate America is unjust. Anyway, for this week I'm gonna be a good bean (*sigh*) and put $100 in my account. But I shall still have $79.53 left over for....drumroll please....
NYC!!!! Yeah, I'm going to New York on Thursday with this woman who's a really good friend of the family. She wants to look at schools for electrolysis, i.e. electric hair removal. It's an interesting profession, and a bit gross, but I guess somebody has to do it. And it's cool because we're going to SoHo, and maybe to the giant city Sephora where they actually have decent inventory.
So aside from the fact that I'm a Party Stop slave on Monday/Wednesday/Saturday this week, it'll be good. Last night I got money and went to Adoration, tonight I get to go to Adoration and "flute it up" with the chilluns (oh God, now they've got me saying that), Thursday is the city and youth group......*yay!!!!* Argh I'm so excited-like!!!!
I love that it's cold and rainy, but I hope it clears up by Thursday. I don't usually like summer because of humidity and stifling heat and all that annoying stuff, but this is good. Warm and sunny is also nice.
I really need to get moving with my summer reading. I would read during the day, but there's Xena and Internet and all that good stuff......argh. I'm so lazy.
Okay, it's off with me before Mutti gets home. Maybe I'll cook dinner....?
