Cast Away

Nov 26, 2008 10:10

I've been cast in a show for next quarter!!   It's an amazing part!  I'm thrilled out of my socks!!!  The play is Time and the Conways, and the role is Kay.  The director is Simon Williams, who is not only the head of the department, but is also hilariously British and wonderful.  Also, the cast pretty much consists of the most fun people ever.  Win.

Speaking of Britain, it's pretty much raining.  I'm very thankful for my rain boots, because there is nothing worse than wet feet.

Speaking of being thankful, I cannot wait for tomorrow.  I want stuffing and pie.  Immediately.

Speaking of pie (it's a stretch, deal with it,) who's gonna be home?  Let's do something on Friday!  Or Saturday!  Or both!

Speaking of home, I have class until four today, which means Jordan and I will be hitting the road probably around five.  Which means we'll be in San Jose around, oh... eight?  Nine?  Hooray, traffic.

Speaking of daunting situations, I have a paper due today (i.e. in less than an hour) that I have written one third of.  I'm off to beg my professor for an extension.  (I think I'll get it, since she originally wanted us to hand it in on the 1st, and the combination of doing tech for the dance concert, Sketch 'n' Sniff, and callbacks have kept me busy from 5pm to midnight the last four or five nights.  Poo.

I really love you all, a lot.  Stay dry, and I will see you soon!

P.S. Leah, I got your message and I am so going to call you back today.

P.P.S. I CANNOT WAIT TO GO HOME.

Okay, this really is the last thing.  Firstly:  Natural selection at work.

And secondly, I know I've already posted this, but I am just so thrilled that this man is running our country.

Bing!
