"It's supposed to rain."

Man.  Heath Ledger.  Serious, and selective about his career.  An actor who valued a respectable repertoire, and whose career has been cut short far too soon.  And on a less sombre note, my thirteen-year-old self thought he was pretty hot in The Patriot.  He will be missed.

What a strange few days it has been.

It rained at home, and it's raining back in Isla Vista.  Sort of comforting, except that I don't have an umbrella, or boots.

Jordan departed this evening, after spending the day doing assorted errands, not the least of which is (most likely) nailing down a place to live.  The downside?  Won't be available until mid-Feb.  And honestly?  I don't care!  Because I just want a place that we can make our own, anything that feels like home!  Whee!  I can't wait.

I'm busy all the time.  Really, I should be asleep because my shift starts at 7:30 tomorrow.  Wish I had a million dollars.

I miss everyone.  I really miss the feeling of being at home.

I think one of my big prerogatives (I just learned how to spell that properly) for the coming year is to acquire something like a car.  Maybe a horse and buggy- better mileage.  Or, at the very least, learn to drive stick so I can drive the truck.  Hahahahaha!  This is like that ridiculous habit I have of checking my bank statements online, thereby confirming that I am broke, then getting on craigslist and trolling for things I can't afford.

I just learned that prerogative doesn't mean what I thought it means.  Dictionary.com:  We Are Not Worthy.

Signing off.  It's nice to be able to listen to the rain.  One more thing, though:  Hi!  I hear you, and I remember.

words words words, rain, home, money, death
