Well, that was pretty pointless. I got there at about 8:55, and after ten minutes of waiting in the lobby, his clerk came down to tell me there'd "been a mix-up" because I hadn't responded to the e-mail with the start date, so they weren't sure I was coming in today, and thus weren't ready for me. Really? I didn't reply?

Oops. Apparently I didn't. Damn.

Definitely feeling like an idiot right now. Some first impression.
