Mary on Greys and why she got the role I had hoped EJO would play
Finally we got some more info on Mary's character on Grey's (warning: spoilers for her character, obviously).
My reactions behind the cut!
First off all, I saw the picture before I read the text and I immediately thought something about that character she plays is not like it should be. I didn't know exactly what it was, but the expression on her face in this one photo already brilliantly displays her condition. Once again, hats off to Mary for morphing into her characters like no other actress can. (okay, I may be biased :P )
Secondly, I was just telling altitudeandwine in this post two days ago in answer to her question what role we would like to see EJO in, that I would like to see him play a slightly mentally disabled person because that would be something very different from what he has done before and he would be fantastic with all the little nuances. What was that? 6th sense or something? Okay, it's Mary instead of EJO, but still! :o
I really can't wait to see her in this. And I fully understand now why she took that role.
