The Adama Emotionstudy

While I was rewatching BSG's 4th season (I am still in the middle of writing that 4.0 review, I swear), I couldn't stop being impressed with the emotions Adama went through this season and with the subtlely (just forget about werewolf howling & broken mirrors in "Revelations" for a minute) Eddie portrayed this. Like in "Sine Qua Non", they should have just burned the script (which was kinda bad anyway) and let him talk with his eyes. So, anyway, as a little dedication to The Ed's eye acting, I came up with The Adama Emotionstudy (ranked by intensity). Starting with...

...his every day face - the determined Admiral:

If people are not dying, coming back from the dead, frakking up or turning out to be cylons, he actually has (a few very spare) days when he is pretty much in tune with himself:

To bathe in the positive vibes for a moment, this is Adama's love face:

Unfortunately, season 4 had a great demand for his sad face as well:

...if he wasn't completely desperated, that is:

...or outright angry:

You sure as hell don't want to be in the same room with him when he's pissed in all subtlety:

But sometimes, sometimes the guy is just as lost and fed-up as I was when I heard BSG won't get a 5th season:

Hope you enjoyed this little trip into the Adamotions, an Adama icon post will follow soon.
