Lots of people have been doing that tv meme recentlly. Silently, I found myself replying to a lot of those questions with "BSG miniseries". To this day and 4 seasons of BSG, I still consider its pilot movie one of the best things ever. One of the best BSG "episodes" ever and one of the best movies in general, ever. Considering the fact that I was

Nah. Not yet, at least as I didn't buy anything - in the end. The English version (of the Complete Series) was a disappointment, advertising features they didn't actually include; the US version is still too expensive; the Dutch version is without any sort of specials and the subtitles are written by a clueless nudnik.
So I am still waiting.
And pouting.
Obviously.
Out of curiosity, how did you see the hand squeeze scene before?
I saw a character, who was so clearly in distress (the breast gripping scene in the bathroom was only a short while before) who was being coaxed (forced) by the incapacitation of others, to take a hold of herself, find her equilibrium and strength, her backbone, and take the lead, shoulder the responsibility, forcing her own problems to a back seat.

She keeps sitting stock-still while about twenty different emotions run across her face. I keep sitting stock-still while watching that scene and its subsequent scene unfold
Reading, this is where I though "I must force the mini series on this and that (female) friend of mine. Now!"
And this:
I kept watching more attentively only to almost choke on my Battlestar preconceptions when the hot robot babe with that fascinating expression went and snapped the baby's neck. Now, I'm not morbid or anything, but I was completely taken by that scene. Especially when hot robot killer chick walked away from the scene with that absolutely painful look on her face. Besides, no matter how many babies die horrible deaths every day on this planet, you don't kill babies on tv. You don't.
Incredibly perceptive!!
I loved your personal reflections throughout the posting. Enabled me to see it through your eyes. Your emotions added an extra flavor to my private reminiscing.
