Here, you've got me woman, I finally watched the darn thing, which I should blame on you, I guess. Was it the part of THE plan, ya know, to upload the awesome credit!soundtrack to trick Dalia into it? Well, congrats to your sneaky german self are in order, it totally worked. And yes, I still have a thing for soundtracks, happy now? Basically I agree with all mentioned above, so where do I sign? :P I never thought it was actually possible to make a movie!(a sequence of scenes mostly, yeah, but you can always get creative knowing that you're not pressed for time, so 43 minutes sharp is no longer an issue, plus character management *g* is a lot easier this way so there's no screen time distribution going on, like 3 min per person per episode, so it's either you want a character in a movie or you don't. Talking about Tory *duh*) feel like a huge bonus feature, I guess The Plan just proved me wrong. It felt like a smart mix of webisodes and deleted scenes. The cylon plan is not an issue here, it's a mess plotwise and Ron actually screwed up his last (suppose it is) chance to redeem *cough* explain his sudden obsession with mysticalstuff most fans didn't buy as a part of original storytelling. I yet again felt cheated (the old stuff), jumped at (most of the new stuff) and robbed (who cares about 4s and 5s really). Yeah, that's somewhat a new perspective, as you put it, but in the end it didn't really work for me. Where's Laura? What about Ellen, did we just have enough of her? And Saul, is that guy supposed to be doing important stuff like making phone calls only? Tory, no comment. The new Six, like WTF, you know. I guess they might have had better luck with main characters backgroungs as a story basis. Tell us some more about Bill and Lee, Laura and Adar, Kara, Saul and Ellen and make it drama. I know it's a witshful thinking, so not gonna happen. *sigh*
It was a pleasure reading the review, as always, reminded me of the old days.

That's alright, I can deal with blame.

*chuckle* I should say "yes, I planned that all along" to add to my CGB reputation, but no, I sneezed the song because someone else on my flist had asked for it. Glad you enjoyed, though. ;)
I wonder if I should make a few soundtrack posts in the future. But I guess when it's just talk and no cough, people won't be as interested in it. :P

1. And I always thought I was the only one with the bad habit of nested sentences.
2. YES. I fully agree with what you say about how you either want a character in a movie or not.

Good point. The movie is called The Plan, but despite the opportunity to actually make up a plan in restrospective, they once again prove that they had no frakking idea of what it all was about. #)

*hugs you* Where can I sign up for your ideas? Seriously, I am still confused about when this show turned from one of the best dramas I have ever seen into...a mess...which still had the basic elements of what it once was, and of course the great characters, but the narrative had changed to the worse. :(
When I was watching The Plan, I was wondering what happened to the first 2 seasons of the show when the mystical story revolved around the scrolls of Pythia, the Lords of Kobol, the arrow of Apollo and whatnot. I was never a big fan of that either, but at least the narrative back then was consistent. However, we never learned who actually wrote the scrolls or what the Lords of Kobol were all about, or how the planets Caprica/Kobol/Earth1/Earth2 were connected, did we? Instead they came up with angel!Starbuck and the contrived story around the final five. It's like there was a rift running through the series' storytelling at one point.
