said much the same on a facebook post, but Resty did well to devolve that back into farce.

I'm not sure how 'realistic' the LAPD part of the show is...and maybe that is the point with some of the...laxness of action. Or its just storywriting. I thought I remembered in earlier seasons seeing Brenda grow, make mistakes, have her chocolate caveats, etc, but its been missing this year.

Raydor is a tough character to play. In theory, she's an antagonist and very much to Brenda's Southern Belle thing. And having had the 'pleasure' to know and work with cops in a not so fun city, the spying, lying, and ignorance stuff is all believable (Rodney King anyone?). And the self-inflicted wounds to cover police brutality.

But I too was hoping that we'd get more of a point across for Brenda and the team besides a numbers lecture in the hallway at the end of the show. I want to see a dirty cop case or the fallout of Brenda impeding on a 72 hour deadline and what that does to an officer and their family.

Or, you know, we can just start to add in the 'Lesson Learned' music in the background at the end of every and a witty monologue recapping the entire show.

*facebook-less* Seems I miss all the fun. ;)

*chuckle* Good way to sum it up! This was exactly how it felt.
