Ho-hum. Well, I'm done PMSing, so that's good. I seriously needed to chill out this past few weeks. I mean, that's not to say that I didn't have things to complain about -- by most accounts, this month has totally sucked -- but still, it's nice to stop taking life so hard for awhile.
I haven't done anything today. So that's helped, too. And now Sarah and I are watching "The Return of the Jedi". I like the cute little caps that the Empire guys wear. Jaunty. I figure Sarah needs to meet John if he comes here next year. She needs more Star Wars friends, and I'm afraid I just can't be there for her in that regard.
I want to go dirty-blond this summer. And/or get a lip ring, I think. Not both -- that seems a little much. But who knows? I guess it depends on what job I get. Which I also need to start thinking about. Well, I am, but moreso couldn't hurt. Pretty much, the more Dad gets on my back about it, the more I'm just going to concentrate on finals and watching movies.
Speaking of finals, things are looking a little better perhaps. I managed to finish my final project, a self-designed magazine called "Twentysomething", for VisComm at the last moment and without eating substantial food for about three days straight. I'm taking my business class P/NP now, so I just need to pass the final and I'm solid -- lucky, because I just don't have it in me to study anymore. And German is on Wednesday, but it should be fairly easy if I just review the material a bit. I have a solid A in that class anyway.
The best news I got this week was actually in Ethics, when Bivins announced that if we're happy with our grade in the class, we don't have to take the final. I'm not thrilled with my grade -- it will be my second B in college -- but it's so solid (85%) that I can't see any benefit in risking it in order to try for a B+. His tests, as stated about a month ago, totally blow. It was funny though -- it took the class about ten minutes of processing before they'd stop asking, "... Wait. IS THIS A TRICK?" No, it's an ethics class. Clever trick though.
Okay, back to Ewoks. Has anyone ever noticed that Chewie's shout sounds a lot like an animalistic version of Joey Lawrence's "WHOA!".
Think about it. I can't do the imitation here, but I assure you... it's hilarious.
