'Til the corncrake crows.

Not much to update on. I'm having a heck of a time being productive though -- probably because it's Easter and I want hammmm and deviled eggs, and that's just not going to happen. Instead, am sitting at the library (where many of my greatest posts have been written), browsing through various blogs instead of blogging for my class about blogs.

Hmph.

Anyway, ummm... new term, new classes. Done with business and gen ed -- just film and EM classes left to deal with. Need to see if I can find a PDX-area equivalent to a class only offered in winter so that I can get my film studies certificate and be donedone with college in fall. But yeah, the shocking realization that this is my last term as a full-time student, maybe ever. (I know, never say never, but I'm never going to grad school.) The idea of finding a summer internship, much less an actual paying job after college, makes me want to puke, so I'm putting off those thoughts as long as possible... which is until next weekend, when I have the first of two workshops regarding "making it in the media".

Oh, I'm back to being involved with Duck U, which some of you may remember me dropping a couple years back after some severe uncomfortableness with Chris using his position as an exec producer to write makeout scenes for our characters. But he quit, and now I'm back, lured in by a much stronger production staff stacked with friends. I'm now back on "Trailer" as a Production Whatevertheyneed (and occasional Dead Body), among other shows, and it's significantly more awesome and time-efficient than in the past. And I like being involved, for sure.

The whole EM major, in fact, is quite belatedly becoming pretty fun. I like everyone in my sequence, and we've all taken to getting together at Rennie's for so-called "Nick Nolte" nights (I may or may not be a founding member of this megasecret drinking society).

Lessee... I spent a couple hours making a glorious and painstakingly color-coded weekly schedule on iCal and now I am obsessed with checking on how my day is going. Plus, now any uncertainty in plans is crushing. Dad and Laura might come up for a visit after my birthday, but WHEN? Same with Brittany (am very, very excited for this) in late May. And I'd like to go camping on my birthday weekend, but will anyone come? (This is why I never have birthday parties.) And do I have to film a package at the spring game that Saturday? So a little bit of planning up in the air, but I guess I'll survive the uncertainty.

It's always sad when you buy tons of food at Winco and still come out of it with a "meh" feeling about your fridge. I need a new recipe or two and maybe for my avocados to hurry up and ripen. Jill and I might make a quiche later this week, so that could be fun... Anyway, we'll see.

Okay! I'm going to bust out a bit more work -- I AM, IT'S TRUE -- then go home for food. The roomies are going to Mass (HAHAHA) at 7, so maybe I can put on the rest of "Jesus Christ Superstar" and have my own personal religious experience with some pasta and light dancing. I'm also currently scheming about some decidedly un-Christian things, so I'm sure a little Jesus in my life couldn't hurt.

Happy Easter!
