I'm not so much into fanfic or concrit or anything else remotely involved in fandom at this point, but the Seven Basic Blog Posts was hilarious, It took all the things that really annoy me about blogging and bloggers and made it actually funny. And a little bit sad at the same time.

It's the "sad" part that gets me. Although to be honest, bloggers are basically doing what newspaper columnists have gotten the big bucks to do for years, and most of them really annoy me, too.

I mostly avoid columnists like the plague. The only one I really keep up with is Dave McNeely, and that's because I almost always agree with him. I'm way too opinionated to read others, especially when they start mouthing off about education. And ESPECIALLY especially education in Texas. Keeps my blood pressure down to just avoid those types.
