Page 17 Panel One - In this one, we have a full shot of our hero, Captain Vulture Man, standing on a burnt out Chevy, with his legs apart and his hands resting on his hips in a victorious manner, which is odd, because from the previous few pages, we know that the villain, Punchline: The Funny Person of Evil has kidnapped Pollywog, Captain Vulture Man's teen helper of good. The word balloon coming from Captain Vulture Man's mouth reads, "I have gotten past the poor flesh and now am drinking from the marrow of the dilemma! Punchline can never seem to stop himself from giving me all the information I need! Just look at what was left in the trunk of this burnt out Chevy!"
Panel Two: We are given a close up of the items in the trunk. There is a text balloon that tells us what it is we are looking at, and that is a good thing, because either through poor draftmanship or bad reproduction and cheap paper, there is no way to know what we are seeing. The caption reads, "Captain Vulture Man gazes down once more at the items in the trunk of the burnt out Chevy to assure himself he is correct in his assumptions of where Punchline has taken Pollywog. He spies: a portable Ven Der Graft Generator, two ripped ticket stubs to the Matinee Performance of The Singing Rover, a grappling hook, a ball of green putty, a towel smeared with reddish mud and a frayed hammock. What does it all mean? How will all of this aid our hero in rescueing the Youth of Righteousness?"
Panel Three: This panel takes up the bottom half of the page and it is an in-house ad for other comics being released that month. "Kids! Don't waste time! Run to your newstand! The latest issue of Super Sleuth Comics featuring Captain Vulture Man and Pollywog! And make sure you have an extra quarter for Fast Fists Comics with a new adventure of Mr. Better! In this one, Mr. Better battles his old nemesis The President Washington Android!"
