I AM IN LOVE WITH IGGY POP. <3<3<3
okay this will be a long entry because i have a lot to say. with two pictures!
last friday was my sister's 18th birthday. she got this:
I like anime. I'm not exactly a connoissour though. I've only seen two series all the way through, and they were Trigun (before they started showing it on Cartoon Network) and Hellsing (an anime about vampires). I recommend them both. I've also watched some episodes of Ranma, which is a cheesy 80s anime, but I like it. And I've seen this anime called Love Hina, and I think it's cute. It's about this kid named Urashima Keitaro (I think) and he wants to get into this big university in Japan, but his scores aren't high enough. The reason why he wants to get in so badly is because when he was little, he was friends with this little girl that said that they would go to that school together and meet again. She moved away and he forgot her name I think. So he wanted to go to find her again. So then he lives in this girls' dorm as a head resident or something, and there is one girl that lives there that looks like the girl he knew when he was little. I think it ends up being narrowed down to two girls in the dorm that it could be, but I don't know, as I have only seen a few episodes of it. Anyway, I would recommend those. And Excel Saga.
i know they play trigun on adult swim, but i've just never tuned into it. i did watch inuyasha a few times and it was okay, but usually i just end up confused by shows like that. i also briefly watched dragonball z about three years ago, but that show is like, if you miss one episode, you're screwed. but lupin has stolen my heart. it just has the right combination of humor and action and all that good stuff - i don't know, something about it just works, and i really, really like that.
as an afterthought ... cowboy bebop has the best theme song i've ever heard. woo! :)
I've only seen a couple of episodes of Cowboy Bebop, but I like what I have seen. My favorite episode is when there is some mysterious thing biting everyone on the ship and making them comatose. In case you haven't seen it, I won't tell you why I like that episode so much. =D
