Most of you would know that I'm a fairly fervent NBN supporter. (I wants my shiny fast internets thank you.) But Malcom Turnbull does make a reasonably
compelling case for delaying the NBN a bit to pay for flood and cyclone rebuilding.
He's certainly sounding much more considered than Tony Abbott, who just seems to be repeating the lines his minders have approved and never adds any actual thoughts or content to the discussion. Seriously, I watched him on Insiders yesterday, he may as well have sent a tape recording that just repeated his mantras. Barry could have asked his question, pressed play for a bit and then asked another question. It wouldn't matter if the tape response wasn't even related to the question asked. Sadface Tony, sadface.
