Yet another discovery!
Look. I know I've been raving about Miyavi recently, and Gackt before that, but I have just discovered SID...
...At the risk of sounding fickle, I have to say that I am in complete and utter awe of them. I still worship Miyavi and Gackt, I just worship SID too now. They are amazingly good and their PVs are the best I've seen. Do yourselves a favour and check out Ajisai, Alibai and Sweet? (my favourite) on YouTube.
I usually fall for solo artists so I'm really really excited to have discovered a full band that I love. I'm also a little worried because they tend to disband :o(
Sadly cucumberfaye has left me in order to go to a bloody farm in the middle of nowhere and cummune with her violin. What about me damnit!? I need to rant!!
If you get back in time cucumberfaye just look up Sweet? by SID on YouTube. Pay particular attention to Aki, the bassist... *Fans self* ...He's the one with the black eye makeup who pretends to lick his guitar near the beginning...and flips off the camera somewhere during the middle...and takes of his tie near the end...and moves very pleasingly the whole way through... *Opens window* Oh yeah, he's a complete camera-whore but SOOOOOOOOOOO good at it...
