side of the road and also in commercial parking lots. The parking lot at the
Round Rock Walmart/Petsmart off of IH35/Louis Henna is a HOT SPOT especially
on weekends for those to set up and sell their puppies and Round Rock
residents NEED YOUR HELP in enforcing the city ordinance SECTION 2.1700 SALE
OF ANIMALS that prohibits these sales in the city of Round Rock. Please
progam the RRPD non emegency number 512-218-5500 in your cell phones and
CALL and report these illegal sales. It takes about 10 rings for them to
answer put they WILL. The RR Chief of Police has stated that his officers
WILL take this seriously and enforce the ordinance when called and respond
immediately. Unfortunately, they are rarely called. At this point they are
not fining but asking them to pack up and leave. The only exception is if
they have permission from the property owners BUT none of the managment
companies that handle these
> properties will give permission since they have signed contracts with
the businesses who have purchased leased rental space in the buildings which
includes a set number of parking spaces and they are not about to let people
set up business for free. Please make a difference and report these ILLEGAL
sales in Round Rock and PASS THE WORD OUT!
