A little update about me.....
I hadn't updadted anything substantial in awhile so I thought I would update....
~ I had 3 midterm like exams last Wednesday - Bio, Stat, and HDFS....did pretty decently - I got a 98.5% on my bio test which was totally unexpected so that was happy
~ I am trying to decide what to do about next semester....my advisor told me to go up to State. I can't get onto the "track" for my major until fall because of the wall the internship falls and such so I would just be getting to know the staff and stuff. I really don't think I can find a sublet for here even though I have had SEVERAL offers for sublets up there that I could take. I also really don't want to commute that far everyday if I'm just treading water. I have to stay longer than 4 years anyways. Whats the rush?....that is my dilemma...
~ My parents are officially going foward with adopting the twins that they currently have in care. The girls just turned two. My mom turns 51 in December. I'm a little upset about that(the adoption thing). I want them to be able to enjoy their retirment years not be worrying about how to put 2 more girls through college. I also tired of hearing them say that this won't have any effect on me since I don't live there anymore. Right. I can't have a conversation with my mom on the phone anymore and they aren't able to come down and visit me because of them. I guess I'm just being selfish. They believe what they are doing is what God wants them to do so I should support it.
~ I am enjoying the lower stress level of only working 1 day a week (plus one Sunday a month). I am not however enjoying the fact that I have to now ask my parents for money again. I'm not sure which is worse. Why do student loans have to be looked at like they are the devil? Oh well, it will all figure itself out. At least my grades are good.
~ I won a "sex on campus" t-shirt today. Kinda am scared to wear it in front of my parents. They might not appreciate that.
I guess that's all that is really going on with me. Life is a little bland with just a few sugary sprinkles thrown in - mostly on weekends.
I'm off to scavenge for dinner. Have a great night/day/everything!
