Ugh.
Guys! I need help!
Preferably professional help, because I'm just not feeling the whole writing thing right now. It's not even writers' block! I know what I want to do (for the most part, I've hit a bit of a wall with WWNF) but I'm just not feeling it. I'm all lazy and bored and empty.
Blah. I need inspiration. I need fire! If you guys can think of anything to get the juices flowing again, I'll be forever in your debt.
IN THE NEWS:
Work continues fairly regularly converting The Body Farm so that it's LJ-compatible. I've got three chapters done by now, the rest to come as regularly as I can manage. However, for reasons not-really-detailed above, no new work has been done on chapter thirteen. I don't even have a title! And that's just unacceptable.
I hesitate to say that part five of We Were Never Forever is halfway done, because three rewrites in and I STILL hate what I've got. Part of me wants to stay in 2000 with young!Sherlock and young!Neal, and part of me insists I've got to bring the story into the present for half of the chapter. On the plus side, Mycroft has emerged as much more of a participant in the story than I'd imagined. I'm liking it.
Now for the big news, since most of you are here because of Bound in Gold, I figure you want to hear about what's going on in that area. Well, I've got the first sequel sort of nailed down in my head. It's going to be a series of one and two-shots centered around John and Sherlock living together. According to John's blog, about two months went by between ASiP and TBB. That's two months of newlywed emotional rollercoasting for me to play with. The sequel is still untitled, but the first one-shot will be about the morning after. Specifically, the morning after the events of part 23. 'Cause I know you lot eat that stuff up.
Well...I do anyway.
