Teot's War. This book is available on Amazon in paperback, and you can get a used copy for under $2. It's amazing writing, with a really unique style. The character is not white, which I think is also kind of unique in this genre, and it offers a wonderful story that makes you think while at the same time keeping you entertained. The world building just blows my mind. Honestly, it's one of my favorite books.
Abraham Lincoln Vampire Slayer. This can be found on Kindle. I laughed when my mom suggested it, because how could it be anything but horrible, and then found myself unable to put it down.
Snow Falling on Cedars. This can be found on Kindle, but it's probably cheaper to get it used in paperback. It's a lovely, sorrowful story that deals with prejudice towards Japanese Americans during WWII. It's also a love story and a mystery, and just very well written. It will make you think, and it has an amazing writing style.
I have so many more, but I think that's all I'll inflict on you now, lol. I miss you!! My hours are changing though, so I'll be off at 7pm, rather than 9:30, and once you get your computer we can talk again!
