Resolution, 2010
My original resolution was ambitious - for me. I was going to attempt a regular schedule like a normal human being, going to bed before midnight, getting up before eleven on days when I don't have to work, putting aside an hour for exercise and ... basically it was like the worst resolution in the world because there is no way I'm going to accomplish all of that, and then I'll just be down on myself for a whole year for being different.
Thus, I embrace the difference and announce my new resolution: This year - out of the dozen or more unfinished stories on my hard drive, I will finish half. AT LEAST HALF, more if I get really ambitious.
I mean, the characters are just there in limbo. Stories of Draco and Hermione celebrating Christmas, Valentine's Day, getting engaged, etc. Stories with Harry and Ginny as children getting to know each other, or getting engaged (I was a bit engagement happy for a while, see). Original stories with characters left in peril where I ran out of inspiration.
Well, no more.
And even though there's parts of it that make me want to cringe because it's just THAT bad, I'm editing (rewriting) the first fanfic I ever wrote and never posted because it was just THAT bad, and I'm going to post it here, and likely at the pit of voles. I intend it to be the first story I complete in 2010. Oh, and it's a Dramione. Cliches abound. It's just THAT bad. *grin* Prepare yourself.
