(no subject)
So I haven't posted in forever because I've returned to the whole notebook/journal thing that's tangible and i can doodle in....
But anyway! I had the best school day ever today (minus the way too difficult grammar test where we actually had to diagram the sentence, "Nicole said that that "that" that that boy used gramatically in that sentence was wrong")
I got my paper back in Hollingsworth's class today and I got an A. No strings attached whatsoever, no A minus or B plus, just an A with lots of GOOD comments, one of which said, "do the dew" that I'm not sure how to take, ha. But then he made me stay after class, and I was like oh shit. But he told me that he wanted me to go to grad school (which I was planning on doing anyway) and asked me some questions to see if I was on the right track to get into grad school and stuff, but I felt absolutely amazing afterwards. For once I feel like I know what I'm doing. And that I'm going to be reasonably good at what I want to do, which is study literature and write criticism and teach college level lit. *happy sigh*
P.S. I love the Decemberists new album. It's sooooooooooooo good.
