well folks, you've been exceedingly patient. here at long last are the photos of my recent work. enjoy.

there are multiple shots of certain pieces; sorry if that gets confusing. there are 46 pieces in total. almost all of these will be for sale at the show. yay!

These are really beautiful. I especially like the first one, and those that resemble oil spills.

well yes, i'm sure you can tell that i've done pretty much the same basic forms over and over, these were all glaze experiments more than anything else (besides, you know, salable pieces, hopefully) but yes, i was intentionally going for the floatiest, weirdest, most multi-layered, iridescent, shiniest effects possible. like an oil spill existing both amid and apart from the water on which it floats.

i'm glad you like them. i wish you could see them in person -- at least half of the experience of them is the way they feel in the hands. or maybe that's just because i made them... but i don't think so. *shrug*

Well, the fact that the basic forms have been repeated (with slight variations) does not make any of them less beautiful. If that were true, how could I possibly be so fascinated with falling leaves every autumn of my life?

I wish I could see them in person, too--I have a little bowl somebody handmade with the inscription from the One Ring carved around the outside. It's iridescent and incredibly elvish. You can only fully experience its beauty by touching it and filling it with magical things. ♥
