21. Alice in Wonderland (Harry Potter; Luna/Hermione; G)
Hermione had read the book and found herself having the same nightmare for weeks-she was playing with a pretty, yellow-haired girl when the girl would suddenly vanish. Hermione would run, calling for her, but she would loose her footing and plummet into the rabbit hole.
She would feel nothing but empty space.
She could never find her.
Then, in fifth year, Luna passed Hermione and said, “Good morning. I dreamt strangely last night.”
Hermione wasn’t very interested. “Oh? What about?”
“…Nothing. It was just a curious dream.” Luna turned away, so Hermione could only stare after her blonde hair.
