Have you checked on hpchick memories? I think I can remember something like that, and she has more Xander related memories than anyone else I know of.

You mean there's good D/X fic that I haven't read? *cries* :)

It's a pairing I rather like, but not underage Dawn cause' it's nasty and wrong. Unless it's Dawn doing the seducing. :) Actually, it's a pairing I can only buy if Dawn's doing the seducing.

Although, a young Lolita like Dawn is totally OOC, hello, Monks made her, she's not going to be a young seductress, but it's fun to read. Sometimes. :)

This one (which I still can't find *sob*) is really wrong. So wrong you read it through your fingers, telling yourself you are going to hell for reading it. Underage Dawn with Xander 'showing' her that her feelings are O.K.

I am slowly warming to the pairing, but I agree, they have to be post-series for it to be anything but...icky. Another pairing I am starting to like is Xander/Cordelia. I wish there was more of those.

Hmmm...maybe I just like reading Xander?

Cordelia/Xander was fun if slightly wrong for him for a long time, and then just when they are okay with each other, no more hiding in closets, BAM, the Fluke! Whedon is a bastard! :)

Worse than the entrenous fic on hpchick's memories? If yes, that's special hell material for sure.

I think it's worse, because Xander is corrupting an innocent Dawn, and doing it oh, so well.

Damn, I really wish I could find it. And yes, special hell material for sure! *g*

I'm slowly working my way through the C/X in hpchick's memories. There are some good ones.

You realize I was raised Catholic, right? And now I'm going to Hell baby! *hearing AC-DC, strangely appropriate*

*remembers he's actually pretty much an atheist*

Oh, it was hot and wrong, but short, which is probably a good thing, cause you know, Hell. :)
Guess the older man seducing the younger girl is a male and female fantasy, at least from the comments. Focus on the fantasy cause' jail isn't fun. Or getting shot by the girl's relatives. :)

Why the heck are so many writers writing pretty much nothing but Slash? Darn! Heh.

And now that I'm actually thinking of Dawn as she was, not as the actress is, you know, the fourteen or fifteen year old she used to be, damn that's wrong! :)

*reserves seat for you in hell, right next to mine*

Why slash? Isn't it every male fantasy to have two women together? Well, slash is the female equivalent. Words rather than pictures because that's how we are wired, but two guys? Hot as hell.

I'm generalizing here, but in a few words, that's why slash. There are some very talented writers in the field. I love reading slash (but only with characters I can picture in the situation.)

It's every male fantasy, except for people like me who realize there's a reason it's two girls getting it on, a guy would prolly be considered superfluous. :)

And I understand slash, I just don't like it. :)

Not that I understand slashing Xander, because I always read him as being straight, because besides his very loud assertions that he was straight, there's nothing that makes me think gay. I mean, come on, we've seen his dreams, he likes girls.

Xander described Angel as "Buff. He's a very good looking man ( ... )

Heh. It's all in the relative importance one gives to things, I see it as him being very confident in his sexuality, and I actually know guys who have no trouble saying stuff like that, at least amongst good friends. The entire gay me up speech, heck, I've said I don't want to have a prostate exam, because you never know, and turning gay happens all the time and the opposite doesn't. :)

Now, if you don't know me and my friends you might think that's weird, but it isn't, many guys are like that, just not around female types, since guys aren't usually friendly enough with them (not to mention they might not want to ruin their chances).

And I've also seen interviews where they say the exact opposite, Willow was the one they said would go gay, not Xander, never Xander. In short, people see what they want to see... :)

You're right, of course. I choose to see subtext where I like. I like to think of Xander as yes, confident in his sexuality. After all, he was described as 'a Viking in the sack' by someone who had been around for 1100 years. You can't be that good unless you are confident enough to push boundaries.

I just choose to see his confidence extending beyond the straight side of the fence. *g*

So:
Your Xander = 100% straight
My Xander = 75% straight, 25% gay

I guess that's why I like to read both het and slash fics. Huh. Most people (from what I can gather) read only one or the other. Thanks. This made it clearer for me why I kinda sit on the fence.

....but I bet you don't wear sequins! *grin*

Of course not, that's like, so gay! :) Heh.

Now I got to rewatch that episode so I can be sure I know what sequins are. :)
