I have been listening to Thrice a lot more lately than usual I guess it's because I realized that the whole Post-hardcore thing is done. Thursday hasn't put out a good album in god knows how long and everyone else in the genre is over as well. Thrice is still kicking out the jams but they have become something completely different. All the other bands that are similar and coming out today are just dumbed down versions of finch and the like. its really formulated and processed basically it's nu metal all over again. And then there is this whole scene metal-core thing which is just the same thing and i hope is just a fad. atleast their lyrics are better it's either about brutally murdering someone or dude parties, rather than the "emo" stuff. I saw a video for a band today and the song was called "Guys like you make us look bad" all i have to say to them is "guys like you make us look gay."
