Books read 2009

I am going to try and keep track of all the books I read over here, along with the date I finished them and star reviews. If I review them, I'll link the review here.

An interesting idea! It seems like something I would do, but I read too many books to keep track of all of them.

Oh, Spork here, by the way. And apparently, we now have a mutual friend.

LOL! Yes, I think the number would hurt my head if I tried to think about that.

A record would definitely be a good thing to have. I can't tell you the many times I try and remember books or author's I've read and couldn't remember. And I also read a ton on my own.

Hm... life after NaNo has been pretty boring. And I seem to have lost my motivation. I stopped writing at 50K, and haven't looked at it since... though I do have a partial outline written for when I actually do pick up my NaNo again. And I really haven't written anything else either, which is kind of depressing.

Culinary school is amazing! The chef is really great, and I'm learning a ton. And the people in the class are pretty neat too, which is a plus.

How's everything by you? Didja babysit anymore famous people?

Do you do Goodreads? I'm loving that as a way to keep track.

i also use goodreads to keep track - though i fell down in december and didn't log all my books read that month (also because i kind of have a compulsion to at a few lines about why i liked or didn't like it, without spoiling anything, which gets complicated!).

but that way i just type in the book name, click it, and put it on my shelves - 2009 being one of them. it's really very useful and i adore it. it has covers! you can put books on multiple shelves! keep track of what you want to read also!

also, bliss is a prequel - but written after rhymes with witches which i don't understand, because things don't make sense and this is HER OWN CANON. i was very frustrated. if you've read both, i would LOVE to discuss, as i am quite irritated by this.

how did chains and wintergirls compare to LHA's other stuff?

i need jellicoe road to come from the library NOW!!!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Lemme know when you are done? Because a) we should hang out (with Ellen and Linds and Meg) and b) do a hostage exchange! :)
