saturday was really great. went to emily's house. drove to the echo. went in too early and the guy got mad at us, but this real nice lady said that there were tickets left. so we got a bagel. then we went back and saw all these hipsters standing in line. saw laina and monica. waited for a long time. met these people from arizona. they were nice. went in, walked around for a while. met up with lola. first band played. they were cute. kinda weird. but cute. then we meet these two real pretty guys, dave and chris/erik (can't remember?). they were nice. hung out with them for the rest of the show. the second band was "crappy new age jamming", as lola's mom put it. deerhoof came on and they were great. you all missed out!
