I figured out something, I think. I feel that although we may not want to admit it, we all fear something. Even those who are supposed to rule us fear something. But their fears are completely different to our own. Say, for example someone punches you in the stomach for going and pissing on his lawn. Us, normal people, would think, "should find a more convenient place to go next time", However certain governments think that this action of the other party is a provocation to war. This is something I have a hard time coming to terms with, if at all. Put in real terms, the US thinks it can go and do whatever it like is someones backyard and those people would say, "thank you for using my home as a toilet, even if you give us lots of money to ignore you". It scares me to hell, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if one day soon someone takes a nuke into DC.
The US hides under a veil of being all tough and ready, but 9/11 shows that they are just as exposed as the rest of us when it comes to retribution. What scares me more, is that they have gone too far with underhand deals everywhere, they seem to be piling shit on shit. Someday somebody's gonna get a whiff and it won't take Einstein to figure out where it came from.
I'm not just blaming the US. Governments across the globe are guilty of the same things. I guess I'm scared that someday soon all that is hidden will surface, and it won't come out as compost, I assure you. This whole thing stinks to high heaven, and Bush and others will continue to use denial and scapegoats till someone will have had enough and kick off a shit-storm which'll consume us all.
On the bright side, there may be something we can all do which would stop all this coming to the fore. Lets just stop fighting each other. It may seem simple when stated is so many words, but I understand it's apparently in our blood. I don't believe that for a second, though. I think it's been driven into us under the guise of fear. Throughout the generations we were taught to be afraid of those different to us, black people, for example. Now, were being told to fear Asian, cause they might start flying planes into homes. Whatever happened to understanding. When it comes down to it, we're all the same, we just come from different places. What does anyone get out of killing each other anyway? Nothing. It doesn't make you feel better, it doesn't bring lost loved ones back, and it sure as hell doesn't solve anything. It just makes life harder for us all.
While all this is going on, and we're wasting billions on pointless crusades, our fellow humans are suffering in the likes of Africa. Can't even get a drink of fresh water, let alone food or somewhere to live. GET YOUR FUCKING PRIORITIES STRAIGHT, PEOPLE!!. Why spend billions killing a few hundred people in one place on you're stupid wars, when you could save millions of lives, spend half as much and feel much better for it? It's simple logic to me, but i guess I don't get to make decisions like that. If America wants to go invade every Middle East country to find one person, fine, but Blair should have known better. He's got Degrees everywhere, for goodness sake. Maybe I should run for Office?
