I want to play softball!

I told you I was counting down. 5 weeks of class and 2 days of exams, 38 days until I'm home for the summer, of which only 20 I have to go to class and 2 are exams. Hehehehehe I can't wait.

He's taken....big surprise. I should have known that would happen.

So here's what my exam week looks like:
Monday, May 5 Spanish Exam at 2pm
Tuesday, May 6 Organic Chemistry Exam at 8am Social Psychology Exam at 12noon
Wednesday, May 7 Statistics Exam at 2pm

I don't think I will have to take the statistcs final. It's optional, and I know I'm getting an A right now. I think I can keep it up for the rest of the semester.

So I'll be done on Tuesday, May 6. Yay! I thought I'd be here longer than that, so I'm pretty excited about it.

The weather is getting to be beautiful! There's still a chance for snow, but it's been sunny and windy for the last few days. It's getting warmer, slowly, but still, the sun is amazing. All I want to do is play outside. It's definately softball season, and the weather is telling me I should be out there playing. Man I miss playing sports. I know that I could play a pick-up game, just for fun sorta stuff, or like drop-in, but I don't want to. I want to be part of a competitive team with scheduled practices for improvement and scheduled games. And none of that slow pitch stuff that I play in the fall for IM. I want the real deal. But, there is no way now for me to even be up to par for playing on the varsity softball team here...I haven't played competitively in two years, and I'm way out of shape. Getting in shape wouldn't be too hard, but I'd definately need practice to get back into the swing of things; throwing hard and accurately, bat swing speed, running the bases smart/knowing when and when not to steal. Plus they probably pitch a lot faster than I was ever used to, which means I'd have to spend a lot of time working with the pitcher. I think it would be fun though. I miss playing. Maybe once I'm home in May, my dad will take me to the batting cages or go throw the ball around with me in the backyard. He probably will if I ask him to.

I think I'm going to go ice skating tomorrow...that should help with the feeling of needing to play, but it'll probably also make me want to actually play hockey.
