Pop pop pop BOOM

Garrett and I had a fight tonight about microwave popcorn. It actually started last night but progressed into tonight. Last night I made a mini bag of microwave popcorn. Garrett started eating it. It made me angry because I wanted it all to myself and it was my popcorn. Garrett claimed it was his popcorn because it was his house and his parents paid for it. That, to me, is bull shit. I put forth the effort to make the popcorn so I should be the one who decides who gets to eat it. I wouldn't have been so mad if he had just asked to have some but he just took and took and took. I grumbled a little but didn't make a big deal out of it. I got up to make another bag and Garrett told me to "chill out" because I was so obviously spazing out. This is what pissed me off. I wasn't even freaking out. I made an angry face every time he took a handful but I just dealt with it. So we had an argument, made up and everything was okay.
Theeeeeeeen tonight, I made another bag. Thinking, that after last night, Garrett has learned not to eat my popcorn. Obviously not. He knew last night that it upset me, yet he did it again. He said that it didn't matter that it upset me because it was a ridiculous thing to be upset about. I'm glad that my feelings are validated and respected. So I stuck my hand in the bag and kept in there so he couldn't reach in and take anymore. He asked me to move my hand and I said no, it was comfortable and I was keeping the heat from escaping the bag so the popcorn wouldn't get cold. He flipped out, rolled over facing away from me and pouted. I continued eating my popcorn. He turned back around, ripped the bag from my hands and threw it across the room. I just got up and started to leave. Then he was all like "you knew your hand in the bag was pissing me off yet you kept it there, you upset me on purpose, blah blah blah". When just five minutes before he knew that eating my popcorn was upsetting me but he still did it. So we talked it out and stuff. I still left though.
If you make food, like a sandwich, at someone elses house, is it still theirs because you used their bread and lunch meat? Do they have the right to take that sandwich away from you? Even though you slaved over the counter with mayonaise everywhere just to make yourself a snack?
I didn't think so.
