Another All nighter
It's been about a year and a half since my first and I believe I might be doing it again. This not so much do to with my own procrastination as circumstances beyond my control: My computer got a virus and froze up on me yesterday, preventing me from doing some typing I had wanted to do and getting other things done. I did get a page (single spaced) done last night after David walked me through and helped me fix it. Unfortunately, today my computer died (had it unplugged and it didnt warn me it was running out of battery power) and I lost all the work I had done last night and this after noon, about three pages (single spaced). THat'll teach me to save more often, thats for sure. Now, I am over halfway done, but I'd probably be much fursther had the last two days gone according to plan.
A note: the bathroom graffiti I wrote in the second stall of the women's room on the 2nd floor of Mugar is still there over a year and a half later. It says "Emily Dickinson is a raging tuba!" from either an essay or book on poetry (hell, it might have even been a poem) I was reading at the time. They've painted over other graffiti in the same stall, but mine's still there. I feel special.
about 3.5 more pages in my paper about cultural identity among former nomads. THis will be a Bedouin heavy paper.
