This was a really good Labor Day weekend! On Friday, my friends and I all went down to Washington and I saw the White House, the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and the National Portrait Gallery, Museum of American Art and Museum of Natural History. I saw the Hope Diamond, giant dinosaur fossils, priceless works of art including a portrait of my hero, Juliette Gordon Low, and rode around on the DC Metro and felt like a pro at it by the end of the day. Saturday was spent bumming around and shopping with my new friend from BOLC. Today we went to Richmond and hit up the mall. I bought some yarn this weekend and have designed my own sweater. I will tell you all about it later. Gotta go as I have to be on post by 0540 for a motivating 5 mile run :D (sarcasm!!!)
Can't wait to see my sweet, sweet husband for Veteran's Day weekend. It will have been too long. Only two months away! Until then, we can always rely on Skype. Also, by this time next week, I will be another year older... can't wait for my birthday weekend! Looks like I will be having my first NASCAR experience ^_^ on Saturday.
Also, counting down the days I can be in Texas again for Thanksgiving!!!!!
