I saved the day!
Boy went to his first day of summer school today, and he found out that he did not need the textbook, and he was trying really hard not to go nuts on me because he couldn't find his receipt for the book.... but I found it! I am awesome!
Also, I am knitting the "Sugar Maple" socks from "2-at-a-time socks" by Melissa Oakes in Poems sock yarn, and it is all black/navy/light blue/royal blue and they're pretty much amazing.
Will post pictures when they are done. I started at the top and I just turned the heel and finished the gusset decreases. But I must say, I really prefer knitting socks from the toe up, simply because I like really loooong socks, especially when they're weird, and I want to make them as long as I can, until the yarn is gone. On another note, I saw a lot of fine gauge scarves and shawls made with this yarn that are amazing.
