So I just got lost in this picture of the Mer de Glace (circa late 18th century?) for about an hour rather than working on the project it concerns.  Focused?  No.  How can one be focused when there are so many awesome links to read!

Jeff posted a new preview of The Steampunk Bible.…it’s almost done, and gets more and more extraordinary with every pass.

Meanwhile, Tor.com has launched its “Steampunk Fortnight,” which will have more about the Bible and other steamy things.  Liz Gorinsky is the mastermind behind this follow-up to last October’s Steampunk month, and I think everyone should give her a hug for it.  Today has a great essay by Ay-leen the Peacemaker, who has some equally clever and thoughtful things to say in the book.

Also, speaking of awesome, there is some crazy Halloween-ness going on at Films of High Adventure, which has guest posts by Rachel Dumas and John Gove, two of the most fun and funniest people I know.  The film?  Ernest Scared Stupid. That’s right, you heard me.

Also, Orrin Grey has been doing All Hallow’s Eve up right over at his blog.

Enjoy!
