So I met the great love of my life the other day. It's a tragic tale of doomed love that can never be, for we are from two different worlds and...I really can't afford him.
I met this miniature pinscher at the puppy place on Dale, and I completely lost my heart to this little guy. He was the sweetest little puppy I've ever seen. I wanted to take him home with me so much, but purebred dogs are expensive anywhere, and this place is certainly higher than your average mall pet store. Plus, I can't really bring a dog home to this little apartment, even a small one. A minipin isn't quite a doberman, but it's not some doped up little horta that's only meant to sit on your lap. They're made made for running and jumping and...I don't know, killing badgers or something. But they aren't meant to be stuck in three rooms on the second floor of an apartmrnt building. I couldn't do that to a dog. But he was so cute, I was sad when I had to leave him there. He was all hoppy and grrry in his cage, but as soon as I picked him up, he got all quite and snuggly in my arms. He didn't lick or bite at all, and he hardly ever barked. He was so well-behaved. And he had the sweetest little face ::whimper::. I want a puppy!
Actually, first I want a kitty, and I can have a kitty in an apartment. So hopefully soon, I will have a furry roommate to play with. But one day, I want a minipin. If only I could find one at a pound. Is there a rescue for them?
