A gem via my AP Psychology textbook (Psychology, eighth edition, David G. Myers):
[A] study that followed 93 nuns confirmed that those exhibiting less verbal ability in written essays when entering their convent in their teens were more at risk for Alzheimer's disease after age 75 (Snowden & others, 1996).
Now, I want to know who the heck came up with the idea of testing nuns for verbal ability level. Nuns, of all people! *headdesk*
Also, how awesome is it that the source is SNOWDEN? Catch-22, plz? :D
*goes back to studying, or something like it*
