Adventures at David's Bridal
Another hectic week. We got to end it with FINALLY ordering Jana's flower girl dress last night from David's Bridal. We had to do a couple of trips because Jana seemed to have such a short timer for cooperation at these visits. The most we did was 3 try-ons on the first visit weeks ago.
Here is Jana by the end of this visit:
Observations: David's Bridal doesn't let you see the bride's dress, even if you are holding an email from the bride listing the model number. We wanted to hold the flower girl dress up to the bride's dress so we could see them side- by-side. With diligence, we found
Observations: I think shopping at David's Bridal is just about as fun as buying a new car; no one is interested in really investing in helping you find what you're looking for. Unless they're convinced you're going to actually "buy." Sometimes waving a pocketbook doesn't even work.
At least we're settled. They didn't have the dress on-hand in Jana's size, so I had to order it. Due in by Sept 7. Now for shoes. They only have slippers in her size.
