Looking for bright spots...
I think this weather is getting to me. It's kinda miserable. Cold and damp with rain/snow showers. Extended forecast suggests a break from showers for Wednesday, that's it. Gah. Gosh, I was also supposed to get a new bike to start commuting this year. We purchased Jana's solo trailer almost a year ago. Heck, we even sold one of our bikes the first weekend in May to put towards a new one.
A few things on the bright side:
* Jana's as happy as ever. She even got a present today from Auntie Aida and Uncle Doy. Two outfits that she had to try on right away and wore all night until bath time.
* Michael's been home for most of the week (short biz trip, out Monday morning, back Tuesday morning)
* My new AeroGardens checked in to Grove City, OH Thursday!
* More sprouts: coleus from joeysplanting and more flowers.
* All seedlings seem to be doing well and garlic is holding up through this weather.
For this weekend:
* taxes (at least it's a rainy weekend)
* finish a pinwheel blanket that seems to be taking forever.
* transplant about 4 more tomatoes
* catch a movie, for real!
* maybe we'll pick up a bike since parking at work next week will be a madhouse.
Considerations:
* I'm thinking of trying to root pineapple.
* I need lumber for beds: 2 1"x6"x12' 1 1"x6"x8' (laugh, yeah, 2 beds)
* put up a hoop house for one of the beds, hoping to help speed up garlic growth plus seeds sown in the bed.
* transplant my poor succulents in my office, I'm afraid they maybe incredibly rootbound by now.
