Flashbacks...

I'm just under half way through weaving in ends for Michael's Danica (entrelac) scarf. The designer wrote in his instructions, "This goes faster than you think." Than who thinks? A sloth? I've been at this for over an hour at least. I have flashbacks to my days as a TA when I offered my fellow TA's $50 to grade my exams. You'd think back then at a paltry $3.35/hr I'd get takers. I only received looks of disdain though since many would have gladly given their grading task up as well yet weren't desperate enough to offer $50. Come to think of it, I was the only TA with 4 sections, the average had 2.

At basically the 11th hour of holiday knitting, I am offer up $50 for a knitter to finish weaving in my ends and then blocking the scarf. As it is, my MIL will be getting 1 sock on Christmas Eve.

Grmbl.

[Edit: 6:55am, I just finished weaving in ends. That was as fun as wiping a toddler's nose for over 3 hours.]
