WIP: Holiday Knitting
I'm knitting Danica from knitty for Michael. I'm pretty close to done now; on the last row, need to weave in a lot of ends and then block.
I used Cascade 220, 3 colors. I chose a blue yarn over a purple since I doubt Michael would wear anything with purple. I tried to be random with the blue...I think it seems random. :D
With Michael working from home and no travel in the near future, I'm trying to figure out how to handle blocking a 63" scarf and well, what do I say if he asks about what I'm doing? Do I pretend to not know what he's talking about? Do I casually say, "Oh, it's one of my holiday knitting projects." Or do I just tell him it's his present and to keep "our secret?"
I saw someone did an entrelac scarf with Noro earlier, that was awfully cool, I've got to try that sometime.
