Adventures in Cloth Diapers
A couple of weeks ago, I finished knitting a diaper soaker.
I purchased a couple of custom made diapers of varying materials and learned a lot about detergents, we just switched to Free and Clear of our regular brand and as soon as we make it to a Sam's Club, we'll buy "Wind." You gotta really be dedicated to do this cloth diaper stuff 100%.
I just don't see how it can be cost-effective. It's certainly less efficient, I'm changing Jana almost twice as often to minimize diaper rash. At least when she's wearing a wool diaper and you smell a farm animal in the area, I know she just peed.
Maybe at a later date, I'll document more details of this adventure. But it's late.
