It just seems to click!
Ah, the baby human cognition. So last night while watching the Wiggles perform, "Hot Potato," Jana looked like she was fumbling with the hand motions. The motion for "hot potato" is to hold both hands in a fist and to vertically pound one upon another.
Tonight, not only did she get it, but she was able to follow instructions in that and other songs! She clapped when they asked her to, spun around, tilt her head to pretend to sleep. Literally, compared to last night, it's like her understanding of the songs just plain clicked. It was way cool to witness.
And for dinner, I had made pasta. She was so excited that dinner was pasta, she kept saying over and over, "pa-ta!" "Pa-ta!" Almost a dry cup of pasta followed by almost a whole mango. Needless to say, she didn't snack much before bed.
Way cool.
