Another day at the plot
Jana finally got her carrot bed going, yay!
I put up a trellis with hot pink florescent nylon string. No doubt, Jana's choice. Anyway, it's for peas in the spring and fall, and beans in the summer. At least, that's the current thinking.
Jana got to plant her peas in too. I threw in some marigold seeds. I am noticing bunny poo around the gardens and am thinking that I really need to focus on repair and reinforcing the fence.
At the home garden, I planted:
* cauliflower (earthbox)
* spinach (earthbox)
* oriental lilies (I picked up a box from Sam's Club, I have lily bulbs in my yard and 3 other neighbor yards...I still have more bulbs, maybe I'll plant the rest at the garden plot)
My body is now pretty sore from all of the construction work this weekend. Just not used to the activity.
