Well, it can be hard being benched from any activity. At PT yesterday, I told my therapist I'm pining to ride my bike, especially with the wonderful weather we've been having here and there. That's out. I also hope to run/walk a mile in a month for the Regent Square run, "No high impact activity for now."
I still spend a good deal of time laying on my tummy or back when I can, at home and at the office. Now that I lay without having to constantly practice pain management, I'd like to try an activity. So I check in with my new
Ravelry account and find out that there's going to be a Summer Olympics of sorts. I didn't finish my Winter Knitting Olympics in time (pair of socks), but I'm at least planning a project that I've done before and found the pattern to be rather fun, another play sweater for Jana. Can I knit laying down? We'll see. I certainly can knit standing in the dr's waiting room and during PT warm up.
This got me to finally set up a project in my Ravelry notebook and I did tag it for the Ravelympics as well as accidentally saying it's 5% in progress. I haven't figured out how to make that a zero. I have not cast on yet. In fact, cast-on isn't until August 8 at 8pm (apparently noon my time), Beijing time. Now to go through my yarn stash and see what I can use.
Oh yeah, I entered in the "Sweater Sprint" event.
