Last week, 10 of us (6 from work) got to go on a corporate jet for a day trip to Steelcase's HQ in Grand Rapids. Michael told me, "Take pictures and don't even pretend that you've been on a private jet before." Laugh, it was certainly a treat!
Here we are boarding the plane. It looked like there were 12 seats, however Tony, the Steelcase rep, told us they max the capacity at 10.
Our COO of the Heinz School and coordinator for the trip from our organization...
Dueling cameras. :)
I actually got to sit in the cockpit with the pilots and chat a little.
Here I am in my seat, with my own terminal showing me our route and status and showing off the animal crackers I was just offered to snack on.
A colleague, Joy and our Franklin Interiors Rep, Todd showing how we're enjoying an amazingly smooth flight.
We arrive at Grand Rapids and they're parking the jet in their hanger. I couldn't believe how clean and polished was the hanger floor!
The visit was amazing and very agenda packed. Lots of information, interaction, tours, etc. We were so tired on the flight back, I think 2 folks fell asleep. I was greated by Michael and Jana at the gate, another treat! I can see the attraction for flying on a private jet now...wow.
