I lost my wallet a week ago when I went to the Puyallup Fair in a town that is pretty far from where I actually live. >.> I have good luck. Why? Because I lost it after I spent most of my money on great awesome shit(
http://www.nesplayer.com/pirates/powergames.htm )! I have bad luck. Why? Cause I lost it outside of the fairgrounds, so it's not like it would be easilly found.
Never the less, we went to the lost and found and I got the number and called a few times once I'd gotten home but no one had ever turned it in. :( *cry* So I went to get a new debit card, I'd already canceled my lost one! But the lady said I needed two forms of ID. >.> so I went home and called the DMV to see what I needed to get a new license. 15$ and a form of identification. I laughed myself silly. I don't have any money because I need my license to get a new debit card. >.> My mom loaned me some bucks though. :o Thanks mom. <3
So we went super early to the DMV so we would have plenty of time to wait and then not be late for work. And in the end we were in and out in 5 minutes. So we went and bought me a new wallet. I got a cheap 3 dollar one. In the opposite of hindsight, I'm glad of my decision.
Then we went and get me a new debit card.
Then yesterday...I got this letter from the Puyallup Police Department. :P A concerned citizen turned in my wallet! Yay! After I replaced everything important in iiiit. >.>
But yeah, I called, left a message with my name, number, case number. Hopefully I'll get a call back today. :) Even if the concerned citizen took my 40$, that's still pretty cool that they would turn in my wallet instead of tossing it to the curb. Yep, society is going in the right direction. :)
I wonder if they took my 40$...
Fuckers...
