What is it with people? I know that not everyone is smart or wise, and that most are ignorant of a great many things, but why do they have to be so forcefully ignorant? If you don't understand what I'm saying, why do you get mad instead of trying to figure it out? Why can't people just say "what do you mean" or "can you elaborate on that"? On that note, if I have trouble understanding something you are saying, why get mad that I'm asking questions? Isn't that a sign that I'm interested and really listening to what you have to say? Would you rather me jump to conclusions instead and offer no meaningful input on whatever is going on, and have no meaningful opinion? Wouldn't that make the conversation nearly pointless? Also, why do you get mad when I'm right about what's going on or why it's happening, why does my being knowledgeable instead of ignorant annoy you?
I hope people will change, will mature, will grow up, will become wiser, but every day there's another example of violent ignorance.
I think what bothers me most is that I can't be a part of that. I see these things that many people can't or won't, and it keeps me distant from them.
