(no subject)
I don't really have anything to say, but I feel the need to post something anyway. Maybe it will turn out ok? Only one way to find out!
Work has been going well. The raise has worked out nicely, and I'm getting more BOH shifts with the pups which is always fun. Also, there are often doughnuts, and we all know how I feel about that.
Brian will be done with class on Friday, but until then is going to be in the studio pretty much nonstop. Which means I haven't gotten to spend as much time with him as I'd like, and won't see him at all until Friday. No Brian makes Ali a saaaad panda. But, only a few more days. I can make it, I swear. Also, once he's done with the insane ATL-ATH commute, things will be soooooo much nicer! Oh, I can't wait!
We went to see Hot Fuzz with Stephanie, Stephen and Scott on Saturday, and it was hilarious. Then on Sunday we saw Next with Adam(!) and it was enjoyable, but mostly fun to make fun of. Oh Nicolas Cage, you are just too old to be tapping Jessica Beals. Even though she's probably a skank.
Bryan got a crapton of tickets to the Tool show in June, so Brian and I are actually going to be able to go! I'm very excited. I hope they rock as hard as they did 5 years ago, cuz if so, we are in for some serious rocking.
Still trying to get the issue with my credit worked out. I sent out my letters of dispute, and have since heard back from 2 of the 3 credit bureaus. One still showed the Shell account as an adverse account on my credit report, but the other one didn't. So... ? I don't know. I'm going to have to call Shell myself I guess, although I'm sure it won't do much good. When they told me it was taken care of a year and a half ago, it apparently didn't mean anything. Ugh.
I don't have internet at the apt anymore, so I've just been getting online at my mom's or at Brian's place in Athens. So, if you ever felt the need to get in touch, the phone is the best way at this point.
I've been missing people lately. I've been missing my pets. Mostly, I've been missing my dad.
Learned a lot of very depressing things today, but I won't share them. Let's just say that I've been thinking a lot about vigilante justice. I think it could be fun.
